This is a new joint from BK based Gliffics, one of many videos to come detailing his personal travails. Far from glamourizing, Gliffics sounds a bit apologetic but with a cautionary stand point which is quite interesting for a title such as ‘Candy girl’. Without giving much of the premise of the song, I implore you all to tune in and get acquainted with this cat.

Brooklyn indie Hip-Hop artist/producer Gliffics is the one to watch as he brings his quality and impressive independent artistry to the table on his first single and video release “Candy Girl,” taken from his forthcoming self-titled sophomore EP, due out this Fall. The track is a very strong and personal truth to Gliffics story of survival. From being in and out of group homes/institutions to emerging as a successful New York based mortgage banker, Gliffics is proof that where you start is not where you finish. Production is supplied by both Gliffics and Eddie Montilla (Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Quincy Jones). Both the main and instrumental versions are now available for free download. The NY rhyme sayer is set to deliver four new visual instalments between now and the release of his EP.. stay tuned!
