Veteran Edmonton, Alberta-based Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-born rapper Epic started his early rap career alongside members of the Winnipeg collective Peanuts and Corn before he got notoriety with his off-beat single ” 8:30″. The track made him a household name in the underground scene in the Canadian prairies and he has since released more than a handful of songs and projects. His latest venture sees him celebrating the 15th Anniversary re-release of his LP Aging Is What Friends Do Together which drops on vinyl and to commemorate it, he releases a new version of “Sleeping Shirts” with producer The Dirty Sample behind the boards. The remix is a sombre laidback off-kilter piece that explores the comfort of sleeping shirts, self contentment and acceptance with a bit of dark humour to match. Along for the ride are rappers Jay the Rapper, Id Obelus , Inky and Tachichi who share their account of rocking sleeping shirts.
