Multi-talented Los Angeles-based Recording Artist Elle E.D. helps kick off this week’s with “Butterfly”. The introspective tune sees her reflecting on her growth and how her immediate environment shaped her core being. Over a dark pop soundscape made up of thick drums and lush textures, Elle takes us into her world with descriptive lines like “Life felt like slow-mo, wanted to go pro, we needed to zoom in on different angles wasn’t strange to her sisters too, not the predictable type, the stereotype with no father figure, was proud to be raised in stable foundations and kept God within  ” she gives listeners a deep profound look into her life. Her commanding vocal tone and off-kilter rhyme schemes sure hit the mark and the theme is accentuated by Danielle Withers‘ rich melodic performance on the chorus.

Directed by Daniel Sabouné, the visuals have a blend of surrealism with reflective visual motifs that bring the introspective song to life.

“Butterfly” is the 7th single released by Los Angeles based Recording Artist Elle E.D. and it was produced by Grammy Nominated Producer, Nabeyin (Travis Scott, SZA, Future, Drake, Kanye West)
