Baltimore duo Dirt Platoon opens up the week with a brand new single titled “Best CDS” with its accompanying video. Backed by a menacing moody backdrop courtesy of producer Deepstar The Abyss Dwella (Buckshot, Masta Ace), the duo proceed to deliver hard-hitting lines that tear through the mix like a hot knife through butter.

The biological brothers Raf Almigthy and Snook Da Crook do damage with their passionate performance as they dive deep into the dope economics of B-more and show us how things go in those parts. Using music as an analogy to controlled substances, the duo ensures they package that uncut raw to the listener. The video is a well-crafted performance shot driven visual that captures the duo in their stomping grounds. We get to see some spots as well and follow them around as they go about their daily routine.

“Best CDS” is taken from Dirt Platoon’s newest release Get Ya Handz Dirty which besides Deepstar also features production by Camden, New Jersey’s Fel Sweetenberg (who also spits on three of the tracks, French producer, DJ Brans (Blaq Poet, Big Shug) and Napalm.  Guest appearances include O.C.Ruste Juxx, and Guilty Simpson.
