The Los Angeles producer Dert has been flying under the radar for quite some time now, pumping out head nodding instrumentals and chopping up classic jams. Dert’s latest release The Gift Volume 2 : Presented by DJ House Shoes especially caught my attention. Just from the album artwork and the first track ‘Money’, I knew this was something special. Dert took it to the next level with this album by chopping up classic Pink Floyd songs like ‘Have a Cigar’ and ‘Money’, just to name a few.
