LA-based rapper Dandila pricks our brains with his thought-provoking single titled “Melanin In The Hamptons”. Over a frenzied, upbeat production, the St. Louis, Missouri born rapper reimagines Brown Americans at the top of the social hierarchy and stresses that South Asian also have the capacity to be arrogant when marginalized. It’s quite interesting and relatable on many levels. Hit the play button and get familiar.
