River Nelson is gearing up for the release of his third solo album by dropping his infectious new single “More”.

River who? I will forgive you for asking. If your new to the emcees work, you may want to dig into your collection and find your copy of the Boogiemonsters LP “Riders Of The Storm” from 94, there you will find his guest appearance gracing that classic project, in the company of underground giants.

If you don’t have ROTS floating around your hip-hop library, I implore you to do yourself a favour and pick it up alongside River’s work with UK visionary Lewis Parker. Fast forward to present day and “More” has the kind of vibes that will kick off your hip-hop filled Summer properly, with River’s delivery designed to inspire resilience in the face of hardship.

It boasts the kind of progressive production that warms the spirit. Rumour also has it that River has been in the studio working on new music with K-Murdock of Panacea fame, so it will be exciting to see if any new tracks from the Washington duo surface soon.

About River Nelson:

River Nelson is a US hip-hop artist who’s established a global following. After initially appearing on the Boogiemonsters classic “Riders of the Storm” album, he debuted his first full-length release alongside Lewis Parker in 2010.

The pair released “The Rise & Fall of River Nelson” and garnered rave reviews in esteemed industry publications such as Blues & Soul, Q Magazine (Q50 – Ones to Watch), and even national UK papers like The Independent and Daily Mirror. This was followed by a successful guerilla tour of the US and UK.

Then in 2013 River released his second solo album titled “The Shape of The Sky,” also produced by Lewis parker. Once again, the album received rave reviews and strong radio support.
