Manchester-based duo Cooper T are blazing a trail for their genre-bending style steeped in indie British culture. Their latest effort titled “Outside Looking In” is a rousing rebellious track that is inspired by club culture, DIY punk ethics and UK rap elements and features Manchester singer EvaBee. The single captures the voice of the disillusioned and represents lived experiences candidly. Yet beneath its wit and melodic charm, it’s socio-political undercurrent is rooted in the now – shining a spotlight on the class divide, and the harsh realities within Britain today. Backed by rich guitar riffs, and snapping drum grooves, the trio goes the extra mile in bringing listeners closer to the action with their no holds barred lyrics and carefree demeanour.

The accompanying visuals also lend their strengths to accentuate the message on the track with its off-kilter approach. using performance shots and retro VHS-styled aesthetics, viewers are fully immersed in their world.

“Outside Looking In”  is taken from their forthcoming debut EP, set for release later this year,

Cooper T will be performing live on the 11th of May at The Great Escape at the Arch Earth Agency Showcase.
