Soooo, to be honest, took me a few listens to really get down with this. However, ever since I heard the L.A. native, Cobe Obeah, spit on 360 Degrees that dropped back in April, I gotta give it up to him. His flow just works so well with the unconventional hiphop beats he chooses to rhyme over. A lot going on in most of the productions (which are great none-the-less), but always seems to just cohesively flow together pretty perfectly. True Colors, produced by Carlos P and Tumi, features the beautiful vocals of Nneka, who always brings heart felt emotion to anything she touches. Cobe Obeah is workin’ hard on the new album Song of the Starz 2: Dark Night, which has no release date yet but you will definitely want to check back for that in the near future. Don’t miss it!
