Pro Era member Chuck Strangers shares his new single “Prospect Park West” as he prepares to release his forthcoming debut EP on Lex Records. Bolstered by a soulful soundscape from Crooklin, Chuck takes listeners on an epic ride through his hometown, detailing all the sights and figures that help lighten up the legendary city. The record is accompanied by a visualizer created and directed by Jay Russell.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Chuck emerged as part of the trailblazing NYC collective Pro Era in the early 2010s, helping to cultivate fellow founder Joey Bada$$’ sound on his breakthrough album 1999. With no less than four cuts on the latest Joey Bada$$ album, he’s also recently produced for Roc Marciano, Navy Blue, Pink Siifu, and Lord Jah Monte Ogbon. He’s been honing his rapping in recent years too, leading to recognition from revered NY MC Ka, who made Chuck the only guest on both sides of his acclaimed 2022 double album.
