Singer/producer Caiine takes time to reflect before taking a bold step on her new single “Breakdown.”

The piano-driven piece is quite solemn and introspective in many ways. It does away with any form of percussions or gimmicky effects allowing Caiine to truly channel her vocals in the most emotive way. The song dwells on the realization of the need to walk away from a lying partner. It was written on the train after a warm-up gig in London for SXSW 2020 and it’s a showing of Caiine’s commanding vocals and excellent songwriting skills.
