Multi-talented singer/producer Brittany Campbell shares a very detailed visual for her single “Mean”. The song deals with a young woman who finds a way to break up with her mean boyfriend in her own unique manner.  Her lush vocals take precedence over the mellow, smooth soundscape resulting in a layered melodious love-laden cut that everyone can bump to.

The Laura Gordon directed video is pretty engaging from the sensual intro to the vintage styled aesthetics used in bringing the song to life. Set in a Great Gatsby styled scene, several characters sit at a lavish dinner table while the drama slowly plays out. We won’t say more so just hit the play button to get the full details.

“Mean” (Get it on Spotify) is taken from her  Stay Gold album which is available here

‘Always keeping busy showing off her many talents, Brittany can be seen on Netflix original shows including Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It and Master Of None.
