Boodah the Emcee‘s newest release “False sense of winning” decries the current state of hip-hop with the rise of social media and virality. He sees how the present crop of rappers are all on the same bandwagon and reflects on the days when emcees used to dive into real-time issues while addressing the current taste of music consumers and how artists have a role in curating it. It’s far from being bitter but rather a deep observation into what is going on and maybe we all can learn one or two things from the track.

The visual directed by Straight Glass makes use of performance shots and several motifs that represent the profound lyrics delivered by the rapper in question.

“False sense of winning” is taken from the forthcoming album A Message with Love by Boodah the Emcee
