Bobby Thibs returns with the visuals for his heartfelt song “Purgatory” taken from his forthcoming sophomore EP entitled Divine Suffering. The mid-tempo track produced by Jazz Robinson is made up of crunchy rumbling drums, heavenly vocal samples, and soulful textures which form the backdrop for Thibs’ evocative and poignant rhymes dealing with his life and the dynamics that come with it.

The track is quite brief and comes with an engaging visualizer shot in the church by Robert Thibodeau. It makes use of wide-angle shots that slowly pans in as the song progresses.

The EP  Divine Suffering is a conceptual project that explores the idea of divine implausibility that god cannot understand human suffering and the tracks detail the rapper’s personal travails and shortcomings in all aspects of his life.
