Emerging Washington, DC-based rapper BANG makes his entry on TWIB with this heartfelt and reflective tune titled “Without You”. The soulful track is underpinned by sombre and rich piano riffs, warm textures and Gospel organs laced with vibrant drums. This serves as the perfect backdrop for him to write an open letter to his late mother and some of his close friends who passed away.  The first verse is dedicated to his mum and he takes time to reminisce on the good times he had and all the lessons she imparted to him. In the second verse he reflects on a handful of close friends who lost their lives due to different circumstances and wonders why bad things happen to good people around him but at the end of it all, he still has hope and tries to keep their memories alive.
