This is the first time I have had the opportunity to experience the creative works of b.east straight out of Washington DC and he is actually not bad; a creative name, this guy has making himself out to be a beast on the beat. I won’t lie about the fact that I have a little bias for anything soulful when it comes to beats, and the first cut on this body of work called Imperial got my attention big time. I will always appreciate and continually encourage beattapes given the mad competition amongst beat makers out there. Apparently, this is the 16th tape he has put out, which attests to the mad work this dude is putting in. He definitely chose his samples to theme the tape’s direction and there is some experimentation on some of the cuts. All in all, freestyle cats need to find this here tape and give us a feel.
