Dope release from the homie Kevin Nottingham….digging the breaks on this one.
Kickin’ in the door on the First Monday of June is HiPNOTT Records’ The Regiment, with their DJ Qvali-produced track “Don’t Judge Me”. For the third track of their First Monday series (where they release a new track on the first Monday of each month), Detroit’s own enlisted the production skills of Sweden’s DJ Qvali for that soulful 90s boom bap sound. Complete with a scratched hook from Jay-Z’s classic Blueprint album, this track will have you fiending for The Regiment’s new album, The Panic Button, when it drops on HiPNOTT Records in September.
