After a name change and a style switch-up, Amir Obe has finally found the form he was looking for. Formerly known as Phreshy Duzit, this dope wordsmith drops Detrooklyn as odes to his hometown, Detroit, and his stomping ground, Brooklyn. The joint in its entirety follows the ladies man through two worlds and two cities, creating a paradox of sickness.

Tracks such as Liquor Store, Joyride, and Jay Z, Kanye, Esco leave you in a musical bliss. I’m glad to share this with my WIB fam.

You have arrived, Mr. Obe.
