Ah, the golden age of the cassette tape. I remember mine fondly, exhausting my copy of Eurythmics ‘Sweet Dreams‘ until the battery ran out on my players. The age of the cassette has been fully revived here by beatsmith All The Fingers in his release Cassette Riddims. This lo-fi collection of beats was created by wiring the sound through two tape players, and the result is crazy. Ten vibing instrumentas filled with groove, funnelling the essence of nostalgia, Cassette Riddims is definitely one to check out. Free download so no excuse!
