Curci – Speakeasy

It’s been a minute since I came across something this interesting and I must admit, I almost….almost missed this submission by teen rapper Curci. Speakeasy blends jazzy samples over pounding drums, not to say all the instrumentals sound the same from start to finish, expect some variety in the sound scape and the narrative is pretty much impressive as well. You may call this the typical “teen struggle” rap but I say; this is genuine and Curci really puts himself out there on the songs.
