NY-born, Melbourne based artist, SHIRA caught our undivided attention with her new single “yeah yeah.” The track is a modern R&B/soul/pop infused ballad that dives into raw human connection and the power of love between two spirits that were made for each other. Backed by an atmospheric and almost ethereal backdrop comprising moody pads, lush textires with spaced out grooves, SHIRA delivers a sultry performance that evokes emotional vulnerability as she finds comfort in blossoming love after a breakup.

The track is lifted off SHIRA’s forthcoming EP, Love’s not meant to hurt, a project that explores love, loss, heartache and spiritual growth. The project was co-produced & co-written with Sydney studio wizard Johann Willenberg (Random Soul, Secret Spade).
