North Carolina-based rapper/producer C.Shreve the Professor‘s new release “Loneliness” is a self-reflective and, to some degree, an assessment of his proficiency as a doer in the field called life. Backed by the retro punchy boombap soundscape provided by Frank THE Phre$h, the Professor proceeds to share some gems with listeners. Lines like “You waste your life, you gon end up with regret/You spent time in the cyph—you learned about respect/If not then you really ain’t payin no attention” underpin his thoughts about seizing the day and making something by believing in one’s own strengths.

The song also comes with a visualizer that captures the Professor in his studio.
