Truth303’s newest single “Zoo” sees them connecting with the legendary Method Man, Shyheim the Rugged child, and emerging rapper Eyvre. The result is an anthemic piece that brims with pounding drums, cinematic brass stabs and gripping keys underpinned by raw undiluted raps from the emcees involved. Method Man leads the pack with a smooth verse devoid of curses but filed with wordplay and lyrical deft. This is followed by Truth303 and Eyvre who both flow effortlessly over the scenic soundscape while Shyheim ties it up with a simple and effective hook.
GlaneX – “Crossroads”
GlaneX returns to the playlist with his latest entry “Crossroads,” a reflective track that explores betrayal and the changes that occurs after going through it. Over a sparse solemn backdrop comprising gloomy keys and moody textures with sparse drums, GlaneX details his experiences dealing with the pain.
Fredi Casso x Ambid Jack x MODO – “PILOT”
“PILOT” is a collaboration brought to us by South Korean rapper Fredi Casso who teams up with Ambid Jack and MODO. The result is a blend of retro-tinged boombap-lofi vibes with edgy off kilter raps in their native languages.
Max Moon x Shrapknel x Curly Castro x PremRock – “DEAD END$”
Canadian rap artist Max Moon connects with Philly/New York duo Shrapknel (Curly Castro and PremRock) for “DEAD END$.” The dark, gritty track is a raw, unfiltered look into the human psyche, the perceptions that are colored by experiences and the off-kilter imagery of strem-of-consciousness thoughts. The result is a brutal and candid track that will keep listeners locked in from start to finish. “DEAD END$”, the third single from Max Moon‘s upcoming debut record, The Grand Howl, out September 26, 2025 on Hand’Solo Records.
m5 vibe – “Sea in You” (feat. SONHO, Chris Gulley & Modezart)
SE Georgia born, West Coast based rap/spoken word artist m5 vibe shares his new single “Sea in You.” The track is a laidback modern soul/hiphop infused track that is filled with adulations and heartfelt lyrics about love for that special someone. Joining him on the track are SONHO, and producers Chris Gulley and Modezar who help bring the track to life with their individual contributions. m5 Vibe leads the charge with his smooth melodic flow and sincere lyrics followed by SONHO’s sultry melodic runs.
ARTHEUS x Arianne Winter – “Call Me Crazy”.
Turkish producer ARTHEUS connects with Filipino singer/songwriter Arianne Winter for “Call Me Crazy.” The result is a future R&B track with experimental elements undeprinned by rich vocal performances and soothing melodies. The trxtures are scenic and dark and Arianne Winter’s soft but piercing vocals cuts through the mix like warm knife through butter.
Kil Ripkin x Jah Freedom – “Here’s a Little Story”
Kil Ripkin and Jah Freedom team up for “Here’s a Little Story,”a smooth boombap jam that showcases the rapper’s rich story telling. The production by Jah Freedom is rich, soulful and reflective while Kil Ripkin’s vivid songwriting and commanding flow takes listeners through the ups and downs of this thing called life.
Azariah x zagnif nori – “Sunset”.
Rochester, NY emcee, Azariah‘s new single “Sunset” connects with Zagnif Nori and together a thought-provoking and insightful cut that explores the deep crevices of the concrete jungle and its inhabitants trying to eke a living out of nothing. His new project Humble And Hungry is now available via Bandcamp.
Shawn Mocey – “Wish You Cared More”.
Rapper Shawn Mocey delivers an insightful and thoughtful cut on this week’s playlist. The track titled “Wish You Cared More”, explores the interconnectivity between injustice and complacency in the modern world. It seems everyone is jaded and the rising state of apathy is eating deep into the social fabric. Mocey reminds us that we are all we got and life would surely be a bit better if people cared more.

SF bay Area-born rapper/songwriter Casey Weber delivers his new single “Parts” to our playlist. The piano-laden track explores the concept of self and he different parts that make up one’s entire persona. Inspired by his own experience in therapy, he reflects on how his different personas vie for control and how this affects decision-making. The track is a mix of insight, playful quips and thought-provoking themes that everyone can relate to.
Shaw Calhoune – “EP. IV: The Zodiac Killer” (feat. Josiah Hotwire, Bloo Azul & DJ Skruff)”.
Shaw Calhoune‘s new single “Ep. IV The Zodiac Killer”, is an astrology themed track that follows the rapper’s adventures with ladies across the different star signs. Over the gloomy boombap backdrop provided by Four Limbs, the rapper deliever a gripping tale that keeps listeners on the edge of their seats. Big Eleanor Records presents “Ep. IV The Zodiac Killer”, a single from Shaw’s full project Back To The Matters At Hand.
GSM – “Lost in Feed”
Canadian rapper/songwriter GSM‘s “Lost in Feed” is a thought-provoking look into the modern digital age and how human connection has been reduced to touch screens, DMs and likes. Over a solemn piano-driven backdrop, the emcee dives deep into the effects of social media addiction with heartfelt and relatable lyrics.
K.I.D. Casper x AJ GONZO – “Blazin Up”
“Blazin Up” is a collaboration between K.I.D. Casper and AJ GONZO and sees both in their element as they reflect on their journey in the game. Backed by a soul sample driven backdorp laced with bass-driven drums, the rappers put aside their worries and take time to enjoy the moment.
Uncle TreY – “Know Me”
Uncle TreY delivers a solid banger for this week’s playlist in the form of his new single “Know Me.” The track brims with thick 808 drums and a cinematic flute synth with rapid snapping snares underpinned by bravado and devil may care attitude.
Goldiie Lux – “Maniac”
Emerging singer/songwriter Goldiie Lux caught our ears with her new release “Maniac”.
