Rising rapper Soebre delivers an unapologetic and hard-hitting track entitled “FLESH.” Bolstered by a moody and ominous backdrop brimming with dark keys, solemn vocal sample chops and punchy drums, the rapper explores themes ranging from conflict, generational trauma and the never-ending search for identity in an unforgiving world. Armed with his gruff vocal tone and lines like “keep ’em tied to my chest yeah keep ’em around/Scream in silence at night when I’m sleeping now/concrete dreams, tower blocks and weeping crowds/So many damn sad faces seen all around,” Soebre gives audiences more than a glimpse into his thoughts.
