Multi-talented rapper/songwriter Maddox‘s latest release “Greyhound” is a heartfelt and insightful track that dives into his experiences as an artist. Over the soulful and warm soundscape, Maddoz shares a tale of trauma, disappointment and self-discovery as he chases his dreams. Lines like “If I could see the light I wouldn’t need a phone, if I could leave this life I would have left and flown/Holding mics the only thing I’ve known so I’ve turned to writing my raps alone/Back in zone with no chaperone, here I am El Capitone/Walking straight with my weapon drawn, I’m here to stay I’m standing strong.” underpin the struggles he faced and his resilience to withstand it all.
“Greyhound” is the third single from Maddox’s upcoming album The Song of the Sands.
