Rising producer Allen Green is charting his own path as a music producer with his distinct blend of layered samples, and soulful melodic chops laced over groovy hip-hop rhythms. Inspired by artists like the legendary producer/singer Barry White, legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff, and the Alchemist, Green has tapped into the ever-green sounds that he grew up on and merged them with his own unique style.
The first cut “GTFO” is a mellow and reflective tune that is made up of a recurring vocal sample singing “Time to say goodbye” over a warm soulful tapestry. The drums are hushed and blend seamlessly with the sample while the bridge changes up into a jazzy section ripe with bright chords that exude nostalgic vibes.

“Cruisin Alondra” continues in a similar vein and flips a classic R&B/soul sample into something new and refreshing. The way he chops the vocals is quite unique and the cohesive textures he weaves behind them all come together like hand in glove.
