Born and based in France, near Paris, Wax Tailor teams up with Award-winning Philly-based musician Kuf Knotz for this heartfelt and reflective collaboration titled “Searchin”. Over Wax’s cinematic and somber soundscape made up of warm pads, nostalgia-inducing strings, and punchy drum grooves, Kuf takes us on a journey as he continues to search for his true purpose. Armed with a laidback flow and knack for penning vivid and evocative lyrics, the rapper really takes us deep into the mix with relatable and thoughtful lyrics such as “Goals are immortalized, elusive, watch the signs/ we broke the code in hidden zones/ still walking alone”

The song also comes with a visual that capture both artists in their respective towns showing how distance is not a barrier to making good music. Dean Myers handles the shoot in Philly as he follows Kuf around different spots while David Marinho of DTMC Production help captures Wax Tailor in the lab in Paris.
