River of Neglect

Budding singer/songwriter Charbel shares some insightful thoughts on his new single titled “River of Neglect”. Over a smooth, mellow backdrop he serenades the lady who caught his eye and makes it a point of duty to make sure she is aware of his purest intentions. Charbel’s honey-like vocals sit atop Sumatra‘s (Boomchild Collective) soulful production, incorporating traditional Lebanese instruments – an ode to Charbel’s rich heritage.

“River of Neglect” is a story about the fight for true love inside a lust-filled world. While celebrities and the media are dominated by headlines of cheap thrills, love triangles, and inevitable heartbreak, Charbel is after a genuine connection between two human beings, one that cannot be built solely upon sex.
