The metaphor matador, the lyrical version of German engineering aka Rip Tha Jacker aka Canibus is back with a new project called Fait Accompli. Said project is his 15th studio project(WOW!!) and boasts solid features from Kurupt,Killah Priest & Ras Kass(better known as The four Horsemen),Tragedy Khadafi(QB veteran), Crooked I, Nino Graye amongst others and is produced entirely by JP Beats.

As regards to his post 2000 B.C projects, this album continues the trend of ‘Bis’s trademark graphic, cerebral and off kilter lyrics. As we know he has shifted away from the Beast Of The East type approach and employs what I could say more matured, scientific technique. Regardless of which Canibus you may prefer, we all can agree that the man isn’t pulling punches when it comes to this rap ish.

Soundwise, JP Beats delivers cinematic/cryptic type backdrops which perfectly matches the theme of the album, from using snippets which act as a preamble to the accompanying track, both men appear to enthrall listeners with their far from the norm approach.

This project will have Bis’s fans rejoicing but detractors will say otherwise and at the end of the day the perspective is all on you.

The album is focused on a reverse image of the Western world’s economic and social paradigm which stands boldly in stark contrast to the mainstream narrative. It depicts an impersonal and detached illustration of a dangerous end game of economic and social hazard through dystopian and prophetic imagery, but this time with a hint of indifference to the listener’s interpretation. Heavily reinforced by guest speakers, but far from lacking in substance and depth, Canibus paints his tracks with recordings of impassioned and almost crazed narratives warning of an impending cataclysm. Bis’ trademark lyricism almost seems to contrast and yet not discount these borrowed perspectives, as though he’s grown from a boy in his freshman albums, to a man, and now to a man of renown. It’s a curious and unique cocktail, possibly intended to allow an interpretation of his music to resonate differently for each listener’s own social perspective.”
