For those of you who come to this site and grab your daily dosage of hiphop music, this is definitely something you want to watch. This is especially for those who have NOT experienced hiphop in the late 80s/early 90s and wonder why most folks like myself.. have a huge passion for it. Most heads in this day and age that are into what’s ‘hot’ right now definitely should take this opportunity and go see this movie, which is directed & narrated by Ice-T. What’s fresh about this documentary is that not only do you get the opportunity to hear how amazing hiphop is from the legendary heavyweights themselves, but you also get to hear how they got started. You even have the LEGEND Afrika Bambaataa, KRS-ONE and,… (out of all people) Kanye West? All in one documentary? It CAN’T (and I’m pretty sure it WON’T) get any better than this! Im shocked at seeing Fat Beats (LA) in the trailer above (RIP)!

This documentary, which is scheduled to come out on June 15th, is something for the current elite +fans to check out. We already know that fans of the golden era of rap are going to come out and watch this, but if you can get some heads that haven’t grown up in that era… to come out and see this, I’ll give you the proper salute you deserve. I honestly am a huge believer that everyone needs a history lesson in hiphop.
