On 23/03/2016, Malik Taylor, the rapper affectionately known as Phife Dawg – who helped launched the legendary A Tribe Called Quest to both commercial and critical success – died at the age of 45 from complications resulting from diabetes.

Having worked with Phife’s Tribe colleague Jarobi White on his Speed of Life project on the track Moon Stars & Sun (available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsSTTPuPRSU), UK based hip-hop production group 2U4U have reworked the Jay Dee (AKA J Dilla) produced 1nce Again from A Tribe Called Quest’s Beats, Rhymes & Life album.

The remix serves to showcase a taste of the future material anticipated for release from 2U4U later on this year.
