It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Now that is what we call dedication, so sit back relax and get familiar with these acts.

Produkt – Movement.
Bronx based emcee Produkt kicks off this week’s list with a hard-hitting gem he calls “Movement”. The track details how an individual who shows little interest in our advances in real life can play out completely different in our minds and bathroom mirrors.
Produkt has built a solid following amongst Hip Hop fans who still crave lyricism and storytelling. When asked about his inspiration for this track he said “The great artist like Biggie, Pun, Pac, Jay-Z, and now Kendrick and J. Cole have a commonality; They make music for the listener and don’t dumb their craft down for hit records”
DefByMisadventure – CHEVYNOVA.
DefByMisadventure shares his new song titled “CHEVYNOVA” as the new year kicks in. The track is a rich instrumental that is rich and alluring from start to finish. A blend of sounds ranging from Jazz, dancehall riddims and gritty 90s hip-hop elements.
Mickey Young – Memories.
Emerging
emcee Mickey Young bring us closer to his past on his new song “Memories”. The song focuses on a childhood of imitating favorite video game and anime characters with chums at a popular day camp in the city. A nostalgic reverie in song form which depicts a much simpler time in his life. Collaborating with fellow Chicago native, Hannah Stanford, over Jordeaux’ simple, dreamy production, Mickey scores his first single available everywhere since 2014’s “Hang Loose.”
Rowlan – itsbeenreal.
After dropping the heartfelt “I’m Not” late last year. Rowlan returns with a brand new joint he calls “itsbeenreal”, the rapper/songwriter/producer showcases his versatility over the soulful trap backdrop.
He is currently working on an EP coming out later this year.
Westover – Blame.
Westover switches up the energy with some indie-pop vibe with the release of his new song “blame”. The song is a smooth, mellow jam that everyone can easily relate to. He is currently working on his sophomore album due out in summer this year.
Lou Mac – Purple Clouds.
Upcoming NYC emcee Lou Mac shows us how he gets down on the smoky, hard-hitting joint titled “Purple Clouds”. The thick trap infused jam showcases the rapper’s fluid delivery and vivid lyrics to match.
Reef The Lost Cauze “The Hand That Feeds”
Philly’s own Reef The Lost Cauze shows us how creative he can get on his new song titled “The Hand that feeds”. His off-kilter style is reinforced by the offbeat visuals of the song. The video literally shows what it means to be fed but the true meaning is hidden in the lyrics. “The Hand that feeds” is taken from his latest album The Majestic
