OK I first heard of SPcifyk many moons ago (18 months? Something like that) with some free remixes he released but I never followed it up. So today on a whim I googled his name and found this full length release, which was put out quite a while back, of remixes and instrumentals, full of his signature emphatic snare and atmospheric loops. Dope. The Parisian is real elusive so if you have any info on him please, please drop a comment.
Ah this is dope. Freddie Joachim and Question, no strangers to Word Is Bond, come together to do this dope jazzy mix for their label Mellow Orange. Each producer took half an hour.
Also check the ‘Find Another Way Revisited’ track they put up about a month ago. Love the Miguel Atwood Ferguson/Carlos Nino sample from his Dilla tribute in both that and the original. These two just mad dope.
