Rochester, NY’s Young Sleep is not resting on his oars as he drops yet another single “Higher Learning” which sees him teaming up with Bronx super lyricist Mickey Factz. Backed by the soulful soundscape provided by Jimmy Dukes, Young Sleep taps into his element to show us his verbal skillset with lines like “A rap nigga better than me, you must be out your mind/Rick James party with bars, who want line for line/High-class rap but still started from poverty/Progressing with the flow all year with no policy “. This is then followed by Mickey who closes it out with a fiery verse that is also a testament to his time-tested rhyme prowess.

“Higher Learning” also comes with a solid visual that pairs both emcees in different spots and captures their distinct performance styles.

“Higher Learning” is taken from his forthcoming 3rd installment of the Sleep City mix series to materialize in the near future. Several other joints from Young Sleep featuring such legends as Beanie Sigel, Dark Lo, Ransom and Nature have also been leaked recently and may appear on the project as well.
