“The best things in life are unexpected”, so says Wrey. And he’s right. UNXPCTD was unexpected but, honestly, as soon as I heard that piano kick in I took a step back. Sometimes you just come across a track that makes you feel so good you can’t really articulate it – this is one of those tracks. It’s just a real, real nice jam – who’s gonna have to compete with Jrue for my favourite Sacremento MC now! – with an immensely sweet beat and some real feel good words from Wrey. I just feel mellow and humbled listening to it. The track was put out a couple of months back but funnily enough features on Mindset, a project released just last week (download after the jump), so pump it through your speakers, spread it to your peoples and your family, and enjoy the ride of the UNXPCTD.
