Work ethic can defined as the principle that hard work is intrinsically virtuous or worthy of reward. In Hip-Hop , emcees are expected to espouse their true personas on the microphone to attain that so called “realness”.   The aforementioned word is pretty confusing in this micro wave music age we live in where anyone can claim it on any basis.

Straight out of London,UK the emcee known as Ricko shares his value based on hard work and diligence while eschewing the fakery and phoniness that many fall victim to. Linking up with one of Detroit’s finest wordsmiths, the legendary Guilty Simpson, they both paint individual pictures of their lives on the way to the apex. Work Ethic is off  Ricko’s forthcoming debut LP, The Slick Rick LP, which follows up the emcee’s series of mixtapes and loosies (namely his Slick Sundays project).

Peep the visuals, and be sure to pre-order Ricko’s debut, The Slick Rick LP, via iTunes, which is set to drop on September 29th through all major streaming platforms and digital retailers, via CRMG Records.
