Brighton, UK emcee/producer Hatter, and producer Saffa Ghorishi teamed up for a collaborative project titled ‘Beggars in The Palace’  which will be released later in the year but in the interim, they share the visual for their new single “Lightbulb.” The track has a solemn vibe and serves as the perfect canvas for Hatter to paint a picture of thoughts that range from pain, loss to self-acceptance. Hatter also taps the talent of fellow Brighton MC, Mrisi, and Chester/London-based singer-songwriter, Olivia Louise who both deliver solid performances. Mrisi takes hold of the third verse and brings it home with a very emotive flow that exudes sadness as he searches for peace within. Olivia Louise ties everything together with a soulful hook that is both sublime and commanding as well.

The video offers. a reflective yet peculiar visual accompaniment to the song. An array of lights with experimental trickery follows the opening scene of a nostalgic car crash, which alludes to the levels of introspection and confusion that follow internal conflicts or more tragic life events. All three artists are featured in the video with each going through the reflective and ethereal phases through a dreamy yet distorted lens.
