High Power – “The walking dead”

Nigerian rapper/songwriter High Power enters our playlist with “The walking dead,” a track that sees him reflecting on his mortality and the possibility of leaving this Earth. Over a solemn string-driven backdrop, the rapper pours his all on wax and gives audiences a look into his frustrations as he tries to find his true purpose.

Rising singer/songwriter Clara shares this heartfelt love ballad “I Know That It’s You” with our audiences. Mayez recruits Da Commissioner and Azeekah for “Warhead,” a raw and unfiltered verbal assault on the opposition. Backed by a dark and gloomy backdrop, the emcees take turns in  launching verbal warheads on their enemies.

HZPROD x Zombie Juice – “War Within” (feat. Shoegang & Zombie Juice)

HZPROD connects with Zombie Juice (Flatbush Zombies) and Shoegang for this hard-hitting single “War Within.” Bolstered by a dark and ominous backdrop comprising moody cinematic strings and punchy drum breaks, the emcees proceed to deliver thought-provoking bars that center around battling inner demons, self-assessment and growth. The song is part of a larger project entitled War Torn, where all proceeds from streams, purchases, and donations go to Save a Child Foundation to support families affected by war.

Motian – “Big Time”.

 

“Big Time” is a mid-tempo bouncy tune from Motian who delievers a commanding performance ripe with aspirational lyrics about chasing one’s dreams with purpose and precision. He is also joined by singer Kayla Rose who adds an uplifting

A HipHop/Electronic fusion, “Big Time” is about reaching the levels you always aspired to reach. A soulful duet hook mixed with dynamic meaningful rap, this song is great for workouts and even DJ’s, or your everyday listener that needs as an uplift in spirit.

Sevin Soprano x Lord Willin – “Top Dogs” prod. by Sevin Soprano

Florida based hiphop-artist Sevin Soprano connects with the veteran Lord Willin for “Top Dogs.” The Soprano-produced track has a plucky texture and bouncy groove which are underpinned by Lord Willin’s engaging rhymes.

 

S.I.E. – “James Brown”

S.I.E. enters the playlist with this smooth aptly titled track “James Brown.” The track flips the classic JB track and flips it into something refreshing with smooth drums, lush guitar chops and vocal samples to punctuate the sharp rhymes from S..I.E.

soulraw – “IT”.

soulraw ebodies the spirit of the center of attraction in “IT”. Over a cinematic and soulful backdrop, he personifies the element of addiction and shows how heaffects the mind with devious and overly-persuasive means.

 

 

Knot You – “Boom Bap Burn”.

Knot You brings back that classic Rock/hip-hop infused sounds with “Boom Bap Burn” and the result is A-grade. Backed by sizzling electric guitar rifs that build up to a frenzy with punchy drums, Knot You deleivers a heartfelt tale of the never ending struggls and tribulations that come with life.

Roc C – “Spoken Consciousness”

Roc C and producer/rapper/singer/songwriter Ariano. recently teamed up for a collaborative project entitled, Homegrown and now they deliver the track “Spoken Consciousness” to draw in new fans and listeners. The production on “Spoken Consciousness” is haunting and scenic and comprises punchy drums, moody strings with an ominous siren-like vocal. Here, Roc C share some profound stories about the effects of poor choices and decisions.
