The production has elements of contemporary pop with trap elements and layered instrumentation driven by a prevalent baslsine and rich electric guitar riffs. The verses by Mistha Dean are insightful and reflective.

 

9ICK x Bastet x Namaya – “Comfy”.

 

Producer 9ICK teams up with UK rapper Bastet and singer Namaya for “Comfy,” a heartfelt jazz-soul-hiphop infused cut that talks about being in the arms of that special someone.

Underground emcee Seth Narley caught our ears with “PELLE PELLE PRINCESS.” The lyric-laden track is a showcase of raw, unapologetic penmanship with vivid imagery and expressive flows laced over an ominous piano-driven backdrop.

 

ROESWRLD – “Stuck On You”

 

South Carolina-born R&B soul singer ROESWRLD enters this weeks list with this adulationfilled ove-laden tune “Stuck On You.” Over a soft piano-driven backdrop, she reflects on a past love that refuses to fade away.

 

Christou DaKeeng – “Trillionaire”

Rising hip-hop artist Christou DaKeeng gifts listeners with an uplifting and inspirational track “Trillionaire,” in this week’s playlist. Over a soulful backdrop brimming with lush keys and punchy drum breaks, DaKeeng talks about perserverance in the face of adversity and the need to follow one’s dreams.

Singer/songwriter DaBonedeath uses Artificial Intelligence to create the voice behind his songs and is setting a new precedence in this AI-infused music age. His latest piece “Revolutionist’s Anthem” is an aptly titled track that bares his frustrations on the current political landscape in America. Insoired by the recent tariffs drop and uncommon policies rolled out by Trump’s regime, DaBonedeath reminds everyone that no one is spared in this economical meltdown and the masses need to wake up and unite against the greedy machine.

 

Jay The Human – “Blessed” (feat. Seth Sutch)

Jay The Human links with Seth Sutch for this blissful track “Blessed,” a laidback jam that explores contentment and the great feeling of being productive and grateful for small mercies.

 

Chadio x The Gumshoe Strut – “Bring It Back”

 

East Vancouver-raised hiphop artist Chadio and producer The Gumshoe Strut caught our ears with this anthemic “Bring It Back.” Over The Gumshoe Strut’s soul-jazz infused backdrop, Chadio blends expressive flows, insightful bars and wit that focus on his love for the culture and the different moments that shaped his artistry

 

 

 

Mike Quill – “Lehmann”.

Mike Quill  and rapper Stix team up for “Lehmann,” a bravado-laden track that blends soulful soundscapes with fiery raps. The beat has a reflective aesthetic and Stix’s no-holds-barred raps takes the cake. The track is the lead single from the upcoming project POPCORN.

Glowry Boyz – “XO”

German artists Glowry Boyz unveil their latest track “XO,” a mellow bass-heavy track with ominous textures and cinematic sound design underpinned by expressive raps and off-kilter melodic flows.
