For the top 5 submissions this week, we got some hot produce from cats like Classified, East the unsigned and much more. Sit back ,relax and get familiar with the dopeness.

Justy & Ellie – Bad Guy.

The record “Bad Guy” is off J U S T Y and Ellie‘s collaborative EP titled “ChixMix”. The lovelorn cut is a smooth r&b cut laced with ethereal soundscapes to match.

The project comes off of an earlier collaborative effort from the two, “Do It Again,” a smooth and sexy R&B single which manages to make the cut this time around as well. With Ellie’s adaptive flow and Justy’s smooth vocal delivery, the “ChixMix” proves to be reflective of R&B’s merger with Rap. With standouts such as “About You,” and “Foreign,” this project is a must play to kick off those nightly summer drives.

Classified – Powerless

Award Winning hip-hop artist Classified takes some time to lend his voice to the voiceless on his new song/video “Powerless”. The self-produced song aims to educate and inspire viewers to learn more Indigenous culture and the vital issues facing our society today.

The video is an ode to the Indigenous women who go missing or are murdered without receiving justice. Canadian director, Andrew Hines shares: “Powerless is more than a song, and more than a music video because it is speaking to the topic of missing women and girls in the First Nation community and the sexual abuse of women from the Maritimes to British Colum

Hezekiah, Soulpete, Bodziers – You Know What.

Hezekiah, Soulpete and Bodziers bring back that good old soulful hiphop on their new record titled “You Know What”. Over a smooth backdrop they details their various experiences in the rap game and then some.

Omar Abu – WayHome

Attorney, emcee, producer, freestyle champ Omar Abu (f/ka bigOmuziq or bigO) delivers this introspective record titled “WayHome”. This is his first release under his new name. He previously dropped 3 projects and was crowned Detroit’s “The Air Up There” freestyle champion twice. However, a series of unfortunate events led to a grueling battle with addiction and depression. After dropping an album in September and going ghost, bigO has now returned as “Omar Abu”, an honor to his real name and a new beginning/rebirth. The song represents the journey to self-discovery, awareness, love, and acceptance and was produced by Omar.
