13-piece musical collective known as The Urban Renewal Project returns to the forefront with their latest record “Money,” which showcases raw creativity and the power of genre-bending. Backed by the band’s repertoire of musicians that bring together elements of jazz, soul, hip-hop with a unique flair, the result is an anthemic jam that explores the power of financial stability and the craziness that surrounds the never-ending chase to get it. The vocals are led by singer Alex Nester, emcees Elmer Demond and Slim da Reazon, and together they each bring their unique style with a fresh perspective on the subject matter. Also joining them on the track is the WestCoast OG Oh No, who adds his own 2 cents.
The track is the follow-up of their recent singles “Will to Survive” featuring Vic Mensa & “Don’t Ask Y” featuring Camp Lo, and it inches the group towards their fourth studio album Love Glory Duty Death, which is scheduled for an October 24 release.
