Brooklyn, NY rap vet and M.O.P. affiliate Teflon is back doing what he does best. On his newest release titled “No Fake Love” he brings back that good old boom bap sound we all love and trust, the man still sounds sharp as ever. From his rambunctious delivery and vivid hard-hitting lyrics, Teflon delivers a solid neck-snapping anthemic cut we can all rock out to. The track sees him working with producer Jazimoto who crafts the driving triumphant backdrop and DJ Eclipse who helps out on the cuts with an excellent sampling of Teflon’s brother’s in arms, the legendary M.O.P, and other rap legends such as Prodigy. Also, the legendary DJ Premier helped mix the track down to bring out a pristine, face slapping jam.

Director Watsyn Filmz captures it all with high-energy visuals that center on the veteran emcee in his element with his Firing Squad crew—Lil Fame and Preemo—with his trusted canine right by his side.

The whole affair feels like a battle cry of sorts for Tef, who made waves on numerous tracks over the years, including M.O.P.’s high octane remix for “Ante Up” (featuring Busta Rhymes and Remy Ma) and “4 Alarm Blaze” (featuring Jay-Z). And it’s worth noting that Teflon and producer Jazimoto actually have more work in the can together, so here’s hoping we get to hear more of that soon.
