In the gargantuan, ever-expanding sea of Soundcloudbedroom beatmakers” it seems as though everybody knows one another. It should come as no surprise that one or two of these chord weavers are overlooked. However, when you listen to the works of an artist such as Virginia-based producer SVPERIOR, it can seem a little strange that they’ve not garnered a larger following.

Said talent is laid bare for all to appreciate in his take on A$AP Ferg’s “Dope Lord,” as well as his stellar latest joint, “Girl”

“Girl” provides the best of both worlds in terms of its combination of a heavy trap beat and clean future sounds. A sparkling array of synths and vocal chops – in keeping with the best of today’s future beats – melt over the top of a hard hitting 808 and its razor sharp hi-hat accomplices, almost transporting you to the passenger seat of a Nissan Skyline, steadily cruising along the moonlit streets of inner city Tokyo.
