St. Louis-born, award-winning singer, and songwriter Stringz EMB  started his career alongside Super Producer, PJ Fresh in 2014 and have worked on several projects since then. From touring across different coasts and opening for acts such as MMG’s GunPlay, Lyfe Jennings and others, Stringz EMB has built up his resume with extensive live performances and collaborations. Drawing inspiration from legendary singers such as  James BrownAnthony HamiltonAnderson .Paak,  and more, the singer/songwriter is definitely one to watch.

His latest release “Save Me” is a heartfelt look into the ups and downs of being in love and while the aesthetics might look good for the public, it takes quite a lot of work for the individuals involved to keep it all together. Backed by a soothing and warm soundscape, Stringz EMB delivers a soul-stirring performance ripe with heartfelt lyrics that listeners can relate to. He is also joined by background vocalist Jay Marie and KV the Writer who help spice up the track with their talents.

The accompanying video directed by Miguel Orjuela underscores and intensifies the song’s themes. We’re shown a couple coping with the fallout of a stroke of good fortune: one partner gets a job opportunity overseas, and the other is left behind in a stylish but austere apartment that reflects his desolate inner state. His texts go unanswered, his appeals do nothing to change his fate, and even his fantasies turn against him. It’s telling that Orjuela and Stringz EMB don’t depict their characters as conventionally troubled people. They’re successful young city dwellers who seem superficially happy together. Yet they lacked what it took to save the relationship — and what it takes to save each other.
