4 man rap group STEP1  make their entry on TWIB with this brilliant feel-good track titled “1STEP” featuring bassist R4ND4ZZO. The soulful cut is ripe with warm textures and a solid bounce that blends perfectly with the evocative and engaging lyrics by the quartet. The emcees dive into the dynamics of desire, longing, and the need to be isolated from the rest of the world to re-energize oneself.

STEP1 is a Northern Virginia genre-bending group that takes elements from Hip-hop, Funk, Soul, and Pop. The crew started off in 2017 vis SoundCloud releases and have since released 13 singles along with their first album, Time Laps, to streaming platforms. Their sophomore LP, Right Back, is due in Spring 2022
