Florida-based alternative artist Scribbles Who delivers a raw and unapologetic track in the form of her new single “Go Off.” Over a laidback but bass-heavy backdrop that fuses soft textures, sparse drum groove and power-chord guitars, Scribbles Who goes for the jugular with unfiltered lines like “Yeah I really bout to go off/Go off in this bitch/Tell everybody they can suck my dick/I do not give a fuck about none of this shit/I guess they thought that the girl won’t flip.” The track is a refreshing take on alternative R&B with a hip-hop twist and the artist’s expressive melodic flow laced with a devil-may-care demeanour.
