The track marks a monumental shift away from session and live drumming (Tinie Tempah, Clean Bandit, Fat Man Scoop, Ella Eyre, Sigala) and towards becoming an artist in his own right, as the Glaswegian musician explains:

“I really wanted to move forward from the original live show that I was doing and I knew the best way to do that was by introducing original tracks. Since I already had some material that I was working on I thought it was a seamless idea to incorporate it and then I started thinking about releasing it and getting other artists involved in the project to guest on the records.”
