Rising lofi-hiphop beatmaker/creator RVSTVR caught our attention with two tracks from his stash. His latest project the lunch tape is out now but in the interim, check out some of the tracks he laid out.

“brighton seagulls stole my sandwich” is an interesting and peculiar song title but for good reason. The textures here are warm and atmospheric which gives off a nostalgia-inducing feeling. The use of actual seagull sounds and sound design elements adds that emotional depth into the mix as well.

The second instrumental is the aptly titled “smoothies” which continues the food/meal theme of the project. Here, RVSTVR soothes the ears with soulful guitar strumming, sombre pads and sparse drum grooves underlined by reflective aesthetics.
