Brand new London-based jazz-electronic quartet respair is pleased to announce their lead single “Colours”, lifted from the upcoming EP ”The original colour of the sun’ due later this year. The quartet delivers a brilliant mix of soul, jazz, and pop with live instrumentation that showcases their musicianship to the highest. The production is layered, atmospheric and soulful all at once. The airy pads, warm textures and sparse synths and head-nodding grooves all form the perfect backdrop for their soothing vocal runs that embody the spirit of r&b and soul. “Colours” is quite colourful, if I may use that term, and gives listeners an immersive experience with its unpredictable progression, chord changes and transitions that ramp up the overall listening experience.

The debut EP The Original Colour of the Sun from respair is due to come out in 2023.
