This week marks the 15th anniversary of Record Store Day, and it’s being celebrated all week worldwide!

The culture behind celebrating the independent record store is huge! It’s one of those times annually where the community comes together to support their local record store for an entire week. Vinyl lovers go crate digging, fans go check out boombox collections, and others go buy, sell, and trade cassette tapes!

One of the founders of RSD Michael Kurtz is in Los Angeles for a special interview at the Grammy Museum.

Go ahead and peep what’s going on in your area all this week! I’m positively sure there will be events going down all around internationally… well, except Antarctica (of course).

Record Store Day’s 15th anniversary is this Saturday.
